Scholars of Ajax/Pickering are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Part-Time High School Math and Science Teacher to join our team.

As a teacher at Scholars, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ academic and personal growth. The successful candidate will receive training in Scholars’ proven teaching methodology.

We are looking for someone confident in teaching high school math and science—specifically Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and Data Management—up to Grade 12. A bonus if you are also comfortable teaching younger students (English, math, or French).

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience working with students (teaching/tutoring experience is essential).




- Robust English oral and written communication skills.
- Passion for helping students reach their potential.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable teaching small groups of up to 3 students at a time.
- Must be available at least 3 days per week.

Hours of Operation:

- Monday–Thursday: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
