Role Description The Home Care Provider is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for supporting clients with daily living activities in their homes. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as helping with mobility and safe transfers. The role involves performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders, while offering companionship and emotional support.

The Home Care

Provider will observe and report changes in clients’ conditions, follow individualized care plans, and collaborate with the office team and families to ensure consistent,



high-quality care. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

- Strong caregiving and elder care skills, with a commitment to dignity, respect, and person-centered support.
- Experience in home care and personal care, including assistance with activities of daily living and safe mobility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, active listening, and clear communication with clients and families.
- Reliability, time management, and the ability to work independently in clients’ homes while following care plans.
- Previous experience in senior care, community support, or healthcare assistance is an asset.
- Basic first aid/CPR certification and knowledge of safe lifting and transfer techniques are preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and consistent access to transportation for travel to client homes within Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references.
