Responsibilities
- Safely transport furniture items from delivery trucks to designated areas within the customer’s home or property
- Carefully unpack, assemble, and install furniture pieces according to provided instructions and specifications
- Ensure all furniture is securely assembled, properly aligned, and aesthetically arranged to meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide updates on setup progress
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and leftover packaging during and after setup
- Conduct thorough inspections of assembled furniture to identify any defects or issues that need attention
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during the setup process
Requirements
- Prior experience in furniture assembly, delivery, or related hands-on roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical manuals with clarity
- Solid physical stamina to lift heavy furniture items safely and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure precise assembly and placement of all furniture components
- A proactive attitude with the motivation to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
