Imaging transfer is complete, and we are excited to have the Medical Imaging Team as part of Fraser Health. We currently have an opportunity for a casual Radiological Technologist at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Works with radiologists, physicians and other health care professionals. Operates radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, processes radiographs, enters data into RIS/PACS, validates image quality and reports problems to the supervisor. answers questions and collects relevant clinical data; disposes of items according to hospital policy; Monitors patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.





Contributes to quality improvement and risk management efforts; participates in approved research or special projects in collaboration with supervisors and health professionals. Performs a variety of clerical duties related to patient demographics, histories and data entry. Participates in departmental orientation, in-service presentations and training; supports continuous quality improvement/LEAN initiatives.

Maintains equipment and performs basic quality control checks; Education, Training and Experience Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment. Knowledge of PACS/Radiology Information Systems and image archiving and retrieval.
