Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
- Coordinate seating arrangements with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure quality standards are met before serving
- Support the serving team by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring overall sanitation
- Handle guest inquiries courteously, providing information about menu items and restaurant policies




- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and billing transactions

Skills

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient order processing
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is a plus, including serving, meal preparation, and cleaning duties
- Familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and food safety protocols
- Previous hotel or barista experience can be advantageous for guest services roles
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork
