About DelGate Logistics

DelGate Logistics is a growing Canadian logistics and fulfillment company specializing in warehousing, freight, e-commerce fulfillment, and last-mile delivery. As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive and organized Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to help us attract great people and support our growing team.

The Role

You will manage the recruitment process for operational and office-based positions while supporting day-to-day HR activities. You will work closely with managers to understand their staffing needs, build a reliable candidate pipeline, coordinate hiring, and ensure new employees have a smooth onboarding experience.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys recruiting, communicating with people, and helping build effective teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job posting and candidate sourcing through interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding
- Recruit for warehouse, driver, dispatch, customer service, sales, administrative, and management positions
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels
- Conduct initial phone and video interviews and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates
- Prepare employment offers, onboarding documents,



and employee files
- Conduct new-hire orientations and support onboarding and probationary reviews
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist managers with attendance, performance management, employee relations, and workplace concerns
- Help develop and update job descriptions, company policies, and HR procedures
- Track recruitment metrics, including time to hire, cost per hire, candidate sources, and retention
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Help ensure company practices comply with BC employment standards and workplace requirements

Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources
- Experience managing the complete recruitment and onboarding process
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and communication skills
- Good understanding of BC employment standards and HR best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and changing priorities
- Comfortable working independently and following up consistently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Indeed, and applicant-tracking or HR systems




- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- CPHR designation or progress toward it is an asset
- Recruitment experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or another fast-paced operational environment is an asset

- Candidates and hiring managers receive consistent and professional communication
- New employees are properly documented, onboarded, and supported
- Recruitment pipelines remain active for frequently hired positions
- Employee files and HR records are complete, accurate, and up to date
- Managers receive practical and timely HR support
