Human Resources Coordinator (Req #: 224)

Position Description

In this role, you will support day-to-day HR operations, help welcome new employees, maintain accurate records, and provide responsive administrative support to employees and the HR team.

The Human Resources Coordinator is a trusted and organized member of the HR team. This position is well suited to someone who handles confidential information with care, communicates clearly, and enjoys supporting people while keeping important processes moving.

What You'll Do

- Provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Support HR transactions and maintain accurate, complete personnel records.
- Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external inquiries.
- Draft, edit, and review time-sensitive correspondence and employee communications.
- Assist with onboarding by preparing orientation materials, employment documents, and training communications.
- Set up, organize, and maintain electronic databases and filing systems.
- Assist with recruitment events and other talent acquisition activities as required.
- Coordinate employee events within approved budgets.




- Administer employee service award and recognition programs.
- Train staff on relevant HR procedures, software, and programs.
- Scan, copy, file, mail, and otherwise process employment documents as required.

Position Requirements

- At least two years of experience in Human Resources or administration.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector or safety services is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license and the ability to travel occasionally
