Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings.
- Use proper food handling techniques to scoop, serve, and package ice cream efficiently and hygienically.
- Operate the POS system, to process transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments with confidence.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while upselling additional items or upgrades.
- Follow all food industry regulations regarding food safety, sanitation,



and proper storage procedures.
- Support team members by assisting with basic kitchen tasks or restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth shop operations.

Requirements

- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
- Familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash register operations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
