? We Are Hiring: Implementation Consultant Sage Intacct & Sage 300

Microsys is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Sage Implementation Consultant to join our Business Solutions team.

We are looking for someone who combines robust accounting and ERP knowledge, implementation experience, analytical thinking, and excellent customer-facing skills to successfully deliver Sage Intacct and Sage 300 solutions.

? Location: Stouffville, Ontario — This is an in-office position, working from our Stouffville office daily.

What you will do

- Implement and configure Sage Intacct and Sage 300 solutions
- Lead customer discovery and business requirements gathering
- Understand existing accounting, finance, operational, and reporting workflows
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend practical solutions based on business requirements
- Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Purchasing, Order Entry, Inventory, and other applicable modules
- Design financial reports, dashboards, dimensions, workflows, and approval processes
- Assist with data migration, data validation, opening balances, and system conversions
- Plan and support system integrations with third-party business applications
- Prepare test scenarios and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot configuration, workflow, reporting, and implementation issues
- Deliver customer training and prepare implementation documentation
- Support customers through go-live and post-implementation stabilization
- Work closely with customers, project managers, developers, sales, and support teams
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate customer business processes
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with Controllers, CFOs, accounting teams, and business leaders

What we are looking for

✅ Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Sage Intacct and/or Sage 300

✅ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows

✅ ERP implementation,



configuration, and business process analysis experience

✅ Understanding of GL, AP, AR, purchasing, inventory, reporting, budgeting, and related workflows

✅ Experience with data migration, testing, reconciliation, and go-live activities

✅ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

✅ Excellent requirements-gathering and documentation skills

✅ Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and training abilities

✅ Ability to manage multiple implementation priorities and deliverables

✅ Strong attention to detail and ownership of customer outcomes

✅ Sage certifications are highly desirable

✅ Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related education is an asset

Modern skills that will make you stand out

⭐ Experience with workflow and business process automation

⭐ Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other reporting/data tools

⭐ Understanding of cloud SaaS environments and integrations

⭐ Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, accelerate research, assist with documentation, analyze requirements, and improve implementation efficiency

⭐ Ability to translate complex technical or accounting requirements into solutions customers can easily understand

⭐ A continuous-learning mindset and willingness to stay current with new Sage functionality and ERP technologies
