Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining quality and temperature standards during service
- Follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requests or menu changes as needed
- Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations




- Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment, specifically with Indian cuisine preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
- Previous kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively with team members
