Future Line Plastics is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout our manufacturing plant.

We are looking for someone who can quickly identify machine problems, determine the root cause, and complete the necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery
- Diagnose machine faults and equipment failures
- Repair and maintain plastic extrusion equipment
- Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, heaters, control panels, and wiring
- Perform mechanical repairs on bearings, belts, chains, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Identify recurring problems and recommend permanent solutions
- Read electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Assist with installation and repair of plant equipment
- Maintain basic records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Follow proper lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures

Qualifications




- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery
- Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, control circuits, and electrical panels
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns

Preferred
- 442A Industrial Electrician licence
- 309A Electrician licence
- 433A Industrial Millwright licence
- Experience with plastic extrusion equipment
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- Welding or fabrication experience

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, experienced with industrial machinery, and able to help keep the plant running with minimal downtime.
