This position primarily involves teaching an online theory course from our Nanaimo, BC campus. The role ensures students receive a comprehensive educational experience that meets regulatory standards and industry expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, a supportive teaching approach, and a commitment to student success.

This part-time role offers up to 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and potential for future advancement. It includes a one-week summer break for work-life balance.



Facilitate student learning, providing guidance and support.

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, guidelines, and policies. Minimum two years of full-time nursing experience, including: ~2800 hours of nursing practice ~ Experience working with older adults with complex health needs ~ Experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care ~ Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring/instructing): Diversity and Inclusion: Discover Community College values diversity, inclusion, and equity.
