We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Batt and Poly Insulation Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience with blueprint reading and the use of hand and power tools is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Duties
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit designated spaces according to blueprints or schematics
- Install insulation in walls, attics, floors, ceilings, and other areas as specified in project plans
- Use hand tools such as knives, tape, tacker, and caulking guns to prepare and secure poly
- knowledge or ability to learn building codes to ensure accurate installation
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes
- Assist with related tasks such as caulking, sealing gaps, or any work as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

- Knowledge of construction practices including framing, drywall installation, and general building procedures is a plus
