Join the Inuulitsivik Health Center as a locum midwife, offering comprehensive maternity and educational care in Inuit villages from July to September. We are looking for skilled midwives to cover various commitment dates as locums at our health center in Puvirnituq and neighboring communities. The role includes replacing local midwives and mentoring students in the maternal care program, ensuring quality healthcare support in remote regions.

Your engagement is crucial in community-centered maternity services. Key Responsibilities:

- Replace midwives on leave and facilitate care.
- Support the education of nursing students and community members.
- Cover for midwives during the winter season.
- Engage regularly for 2 to 6 months in one of our maternities.
- Mentor and enhance educational efforts for student growth.

Requirements:

- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Current Obstetric Emergency Skills certification required.
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation is necessary.
- A minimum of 1 year midwifery experience preferred.
