The Business Analyst plays a key role in the SDLC process by understanding business needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams. We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring solutions accurately reflect business processes and objectives. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development environments, with a solid understanding of IT operations and business processes (retail/service preferred). ~ Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, including creating BRDs, user stories, and other clear project documentation. ~ Strong analytical skills to assess system issues, identify root causes, evaluate change impacts, and collaborate with technical teams to recommend effective solutions. ~ Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, managing backlogs and user stories, and supporting SDLC delivery using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio. ~ Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights through workshops, visualizations, written summaries, and facilitating stakeholder sessions and UAT.
Requirements & Business Understanding Lead stakeholder discovery to understand current operations and customer journeys; identify pain points, risks, and automation opportunities. Define business rules, compliance needs, and success metrics. Produce delivery-ready artifacts (BRD, FRS, User Stories) aligned to Agile/Hybrid execution.
Process
Analysis & Optimization Analyze end‑to‑end enterprise processes across retail, service, and back‑office functions. Document AS‑IS workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design TO‑BE processes that improve scalability, service quality, and consistency. Deliver clear process, use‑case, and data‑flow documentation to support decisions.
Business - IT Collaboration Act as the bridge between business and IT to ensure shared understanding and delivery alignment. Support UAT, validate end‑to‑end scenarios, document defects, and confirm solutions meet business rules, compliance, and operational readiness prior to release. Assess and manage requirement changes with clear visibility to scope, cost, risk, and timeline impacts.
Maintain documentation and traceability, communicate changes proactively, and evaluate downstream impacts on training, support, and adoption. Strong enterprise retail/service domain knowledge, requirements translation, process modeling, impact analysis, and data‑driven problem solving, with hands‑on experience in SDLC/Agile and tools such as JIRA.
