Design IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, and virtualization based on business requirements.

Setup servers, install and configure AIX & RHEL operating systems and other system software on-premises and on AWS Cloud. Keep hardware firmware, operating systems, and system software up to date. Perform regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Provide technical support for server and storage related incidents. Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support. Develop and maintain documentation regarding system configuration, operations and troubleshooting procedures. 10+ years of hands-on experience with AIX, VIOS, PowerVM, PowerHA, VMR/DR and IBM Storage Scale. ~ Familiarity with IBM hardware, such as Power9 & Power10 frames, HMC 7063. ~2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud. ~ Experience with backup software such as CommVault and Veeam.





Education/Training University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Relevant Technical Certifications Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage networking and virtualization technologies. Good understanding of IT security principles and practices. Proven ability to plan realistic process and solution designs appropriate to identified risk scenarios.

Must be a creative and strategic thinker, working comfortably in a highly collaborative environment and be effective in a constantly evolving environment. Strong strategic planning and transformation discipline, with experience building and communicating business cases for technology change. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with both business and IT stakeholders and leaders, as well as related IT project and operations teams.
