Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and energetic Journeyman Hairstylist to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our salon, you will deliver exceptional hair styling services, provide personalized consultations, and create a welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling will help clients look and feel their best. Duties

- Perform professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ requests and providing expert advice
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure safety and hygiene
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Communicate clearly with clients about service options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations




- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon offerings to provide innovative solutions

Qualifications

- Valid journeyman hairstylist license or certification in good standing
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Strong communication skills to effectively discuss styles and recommend products or services
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining a positive client experience
- Experience managing front desk tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling transactions is preferred
