Birch Mountain Enterprises (BME) is hiring journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians immediately for our Fort McKay Incubator Park Location, located within the Fort McKay First Nation to work on our off-road equipment. Competitive hourly rates. We have guaranteed work, 11.5hour days, day and night shift. Shift schedule of 14on 14off. Company paid health and dental benefits.

Operating from our client shite, this position involves shop and field repairs to our fleet of Wiggle wagon trucks. Candidates shall have knowledge of all aspects of wiggle wagon trucks with preference given to those who possess experience with water, vac, high pressure, and flusher units.





Install new or replacement parts according to manufacturer and/or truck specification Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure work completed meets manufacturers’ specifications. Completion of repair documentation including but not limited to work order, field level risk assessment, and hazard identification Complete daily housekeeping of assigned area or service vehicle to ensure maintenance of company image Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures. Must be certified as a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (min 3 years Off-road experience) Possess a valid driver’s license (min class 5) with a clean abstract Be knowledgeable in all aspects of heavy truck repair including, but not limited to hydraulic, electronic, suspension, and computer diagnosis Previous experience with water, vac, and steam equipment would be considered an asset.
