Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting fixtures, and control panels.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit bending, and equipment installation.
- Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems during renovation projects to identify issues and implement upgrades or repairs.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure a safe working setting for yourself and others.




- Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance purposes.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman Electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
- Construction experience involving electrical installations in renovation or new build projects.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation environments.
- Additional handyman skills are a plus for troubleshooting minor issues beyond electrical work.
