What We Offer
- Competitive wages: $45-$50/hour (negotiable based on experience)

What We’re Looking For
- We need a reliable, experienced leader who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively, and enjoys teaching the next generation of Tradespeople.
- This role will primarily focus on residential renovations and service upgrades,
but will also include commercial projects and multi-family new builds.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Red Seal Electrician Certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Strong leadership skills – ability to delegate, mentor, and coordinate teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan and schedule projects efficiently
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Commitment to upholding MXS Electric’s high standards and core values
- Basic tools: work boots, hard hat, hand tools, drill, and impact driver
- Thorough knowledge of 2024 Canadian Electrical Code
Preferred Skills (an asset but not required):
- Occupational First Aid certification
- Experience in project planning, material procurement, and manpower scheduling
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures
- Familiarity with various power tools and safe operation
Work Conditions
- Indoor & outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Active construction site workplace
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in attics
- Primarily based in Kamloops, with some work within a one to two hour radius (travel time paid for out of-town jobs)
