Position Summary

Journeyperson Pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Position Details

- Based out of our Bonnyville location
- Local candidates preferred
- Full-time position
- Wage based on experience

Core Accountabilities

- Read and interpret red‑line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID;’s, etc.)
- Assist journeyperson pipefitters with the installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel on site
- Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages
- Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
- Hydro‑test, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility
- Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape




- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems

Qualifications

Education

- Must be a certified Journeyperson with the appropriate provincial or federal authority

Experience

- Large‑diameter piping experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

- Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors
