The Service

Department is a vital part of the dealership, and the way it builds open, honest, trusting relationships with customers and other departments are essential to the dealership’s success.

The Truck And Trailer

Mechanic’s main objective is to provide quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical knowledge to customers to generate sales and profit for the dealership. Service and repair equipment in the shop and on‑site for the customer as needed. Recondition and re‑manufacture components as required for equipment,



engine and hydraulic repairs.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers and co‑workers. Participate in manufacturers’ and in‑house service training. Training may occur during work and/or after work hours. Participate in all required Health & Safety Training.

Work with various Manufacturers online support. Complete various training courses as required to stay up to date and proficient. Conduct housekeeping duties as required to keep workspace clean and safe.

Prior experience working on International trucks, JCB equipment, New Holland, Kubota, and Hangcha lift equipment is an asset. Trade certification, Journeyman Red Seal and/or currently registered in a related Provincial Apprenticeship program. Able to work in a fast‑paced setting while providing a superior customer service experience & excellent communication skill are essential.

Must be able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities and be responsive and flexible to best serve the issue at hand.
