We're looking for a Junior Application Engineer to join our Customer Success team. You are a technical person who likes building relationships and talking to customers. You enjoy explaining things, answering questions, and solving customer problems, and you're not intimidated by a room full of people, whether that’s a dealer training session or an engineering meeting.

If you're an engineer that is social and outgoing, we can teach you gas detection. You'll start closer to the day-to-day: project design, quotes and technical support. From there it grows to include specifying systems, drawings and submittals, sales calls, dealer training and engineering sessions.

This is a customer-facing engineering track, not a product development one. Help us make safer air available everywhere Critical Workplace Technologies (CET) is the largest independent commercial gas-detection manufacturer in North America. We design, manufacture, and service gas-detection systems that integrate with HVAC and building automation and controls systems across commercial, institutional, municipal, and industrial applications—from parking facilities and refrigeration plants to arenas, wineries, swimming pools, and water-treatment facilities.

Continued investment in research and development keeps our equipment and our people at the leading edge of a rapidly evolving industry. It guides how we develop products, serve customers, protect the environment, and work together. Field technical questions from customers and dealers, and prepare the quotes, orders, and supporting documents that follow Review plans and project specifications received from customers Create project drawings and submittal packages for dealers and engineers Provide post-sale technical and installation support on the projects you work on Join sales calls and customer meetings as the technical expert Deliver technical training to dealers, technicians, and engineers Contribute to product direction by sharing what you learn in the field with the broader CET team Travel as required (25%) Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience BONUS: Plans/Drafting - Familiar with building plans and software used to edit them Competitive base salary with profit sharing ~ 3 weeks of paid vacation ~
