This role involves the assessment and management of excess soils in compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting large-scale projects. Your expertise will guide the planning and implementation of effective soils management strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Review environmental reports and identify necessary additional studies
- Lead and support soil sampling field programs
- Prepare documentation for Excess Soils Management Plans
- Oversee investigation efforts and reporting by field teams
- Ensure compliance with Ontario environmental regulations Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in transportation infrastructure
- 1 year in Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Assessments
- Knowledge of excess soils management regulations
