Modco Media is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer based in Sault Ste. Marie to join our growing team.

In this role, you will bring fresh ideas and a new visual perspective to high-profile projects, creating compelling designs for well-known brands across Canada and the United States.

This is a work-from-home position, making self-motivation, dependability, and strong independent work habits essential. While working remotely, you will stay closely connected with our collaborative team through virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Creation: Produce high-quality graphics and visual materials across digital platforms, social media, print, and other marketing channels.
- Brand Collaboration: Execute design concepts for recognized client brands across North America, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Creative Input: Pitch innovative ideas, concept directions, and creative solutions during team discussions and brainstorms.
- Revisions & Feedback: Adapt designs based on constructive feedback from internal teams and clients.
- Project Management: Organize design files, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
- Remote Collaboration: Actively participate in virtual team meetings, strategy sessions, and maintain consistent communication.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive client and project information with standard professional discretion.

Required Skills

- Education & Background: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design,



Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with industry-standard design tools, particularly the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, file-sharing platforms).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Portfolio Required: A portfolio showcasing design projects, concept work, or previous client work.
- Local Residency: Must currently live in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, with access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a dedicated home workspace.
