Hours per week: 40 per week (This is a Shift Worker position.
Shift
Workers may be assigned days, afternoons and nights including rotating shifts and weekend work. Develop and maintain models related to cost and schedule performance on project under BSNS pilar Development, tracking, analysis, updating and evaluations of weekly reports Assist in maintaining the accuracy of project planning data and identify potential schedule and cost risks for review by project management. Provides analysis and recommendations for management review. Assist in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures, schedules, and scope tracking tools Assist in tracking project costs, forecasting trends, monitoring task completion dates, and maintaining dashboards and reports.
Retain historical information for cost and schedule impact analysis for future work. Analyze data to ensure consistency with company procedures and strategies. Participate in reviews of cost control and reporting processes and provide observations and recommendations for consideration by management.
Assist in the preparation of department budget and forecasting, gathering departmental data, assessing the validity and reporting into appropriate formats. Provide analytical support, recommendations and assistance to project teams and management regarding project cost and schedule performance. Coordinate project controls activities for assigned work packages and provide regular status updates to project teams.
An undergraduate degree in the appropriate field (business administration, accounting, computer science, mathematics) or equivalent ~2+ years related experience in cost or schedule analysis ~ Advanced Excel skills ~ Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and advanced Excel functions. ~ Ability to successfully obtain and maintain valid nuclear site security clearance This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.
