Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure high-quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are upheld at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude towards guests or team members




- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly and proactively addressing any kitchen needs
- Ensure deep cleaning is completed as per checklists

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
- Demonstrated ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with cooking techniques across various cuisines or meal types is a plus but not required
- Experience in serving or interacting directly with customers is advantageous but not required
- Kitchen experience involving food preparation, meal assembly, or plating will help you succeed in this role
