Back of House / Kitchen Crew Member – Carl’s Jr.

Job Summary

We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Carl’s Jr. kitchen team. As a Back of House Crew Member, you will be responsible for preparing food to company standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and following all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food according to Carl’s Jr. standards and recipes.
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
- Keep kitchen workstations, equipment, floors, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required.
- Stock and rotate food, ingredients, and supplies.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house team members and managers.
- Minimize food waste and properly handle and dispose of waste.




- Follow workplace health and safety policies.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
