Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Labourer/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in installing, repairing, and restoring various building components, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to diverse construction and renovation projects.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new techniques and skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of drywall, flooring, tiles, and other building materials using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, measuring, and setting up necessary equipment and materials
- Perform restoration work including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and general finishing tasks
- Support plumbing, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation activities as directed by supervisors




- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks with precision
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members

Qualifications

- Experience in construction or related trades is highly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and levels
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project implementation
- Familiarity with drywall installation, caulking, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring, and tile laying techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Construction experience or background in carpentry is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners

Pay: $20.00-$28.05 per hour
