Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator with at least 4 years of hands-on experience operating laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser equipment to produce high-quality parts while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber/CO₂, as applicable)

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

- Load and unload materials (sheet metal, steel, aluminum, etc.)

- Perform machine adjustments, offsets, and basic troubleshooting

- Monitor cutting quality and make necessary corrections

- Conduct routine machine maintenance and report issues

- Ensure parts meet quality specifications and tolerances

- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

- Meet production targets and deadlines





Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Laser Operator

- Solid knowledge of CNC laser machines and controls

- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

- Experience working with various metals and thicknesses

- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

- Familiarity with quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required

Preferred Skills (Asset)

- Experience with nesting software

- Forklift or overhead crane experience

- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
