TITLE: Laundry Driver STATUS: Casual

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the manager, the Laundry Driver is responsible for transporting clean and soiled linens to and from internal and external sites in accordance with infection prevention and control protocols.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading linen carts, sorting soiled linens, conducting weekly vehicle inspections, and cleaning the truck box on a regular schedule. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of linens within the healthcare setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of some high school education; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
- Clean Driver's Abstract must be provided and maintained
- Ability to complete required documentation and follow delivery schedules with accuracy and timelines

REQUIREMENTS:

- Picks up soiled linen carts from designated client sites and transports them to The Bethany Group

Laundry (Rosehaven site); records weights and assists with sorting as needed




- Loads clean linen carts and delivers them to internal and external clients, ensuring carts are

loaded/unloaded safely and respectfully at each location
- Picks up and transports biohazard containers to the main site in accordance with infection prevention

and control procedures
- Delivers food services cargo carts daily to designated locations
- Delivers supplies to sites as requested by the manager
- Other related duties as assigned by Manager

PAY RANGE: As per collective agreement DATE POSTED: September 4, 2026
