Bonn Law, a well-established law firm located in Belleville, is seeking a motivated Law Clerk to join our busy team. This is acontract position with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. Remote work may be available for qualified applicants.

We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy caseload while working independently and collaboratively with our legal team. If you are passionate about helping injured individuals navigate the legal system, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting with plaintiff personal injury files
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, and settlement documentation
- Communicating regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, health care providers, and opposing counsel
- Reviewing and organizing medical, employment, and insurance records
- Preparing Accident Benefits applications and documentation
- Drafting LAT Applications and responding to insurer requests
- Assisting with tort and accident benefits litigation matters
- Maintaining file organization and ensuring compliance with deadlines

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:





- Previous experience in plaintiff personal injury law and accident benefits is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS)
- Experience handling accident benefits claims and LAT proceedings
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and file management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
