Principle Electric Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated Licensed Electrician / General Foreman to join our growing commercial electrical team.

We are looking for someone who can confidently oversee multiple commercial job sites, coordinate crews and schedules, communicate with General Contractors and other trades, while remaining hands-on and willing to work on the tools when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Commercial Electrical – 5+ years preferred

Licence: 309A Electrician – Required

Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate electrical work across multiple commercial job sites
- Manage and support electricians and apprentices in the field
- Read, interpret, and understand electrical drawings, specifications, and architectural drawings
- Identify and resolve interferences, conflicts, and coordination issues before and during installation
- Coordinate with General Contractors, site supervisors, and other trades
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide practical solutions in the field
- Assist with material planning, manpower requirements, scheduling, and project coordination
- Monitor job progress and communicate updates to management
- Perform hands-on electrical installations and assist crews when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and qualified job site




- Ensure work is completed in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable standards

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Licensed Electrician (309A)
- Strong commercial electrical experience
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or General Foreman is an asset
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Ability to recognize and resolve drawing conflicts and trade interferences
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with: Distribution systems / Branch wiring / Lighting and controls / Fire alarm systems / Communications / low-voltage systems / Commercial electrical installations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- WAH and WHMIS
