The University of Manchester seeks a Senior Technician to join Professor Patrick Cai’s lab at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. The role focuses on applying contemporary molecular biology and biochemistry techniques to support synthetic biology and chromosome-related research.
You will prepare specialized media, perform cell culture for bacteria, yeast and plant cells, assist genomics work under supervision, and ensure biosafety and training across the group.
