Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter, under the direction of the Area Director, completes day-to-day human resources activities at the Branch Office and collaborates in relevant National Service Centre initiatives. Handle all telephone and written inquiries relating to the hiring and selection of Field employees as requested. Collaborate with branch Area Director and HR Generalist to develop and execute a solid recruitment strategy in order to meet the branch volume of business.

Facilitate the process to post vacancies in online venues, organizations and other venues as deemed appropriate. Network through local contacts, association membership, conferences, educational institution, social media and active employees. Represent and promote Bayshore’s brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and skilled manner.

Responsible for new hire administration and orientation completion in alignment with recruitment priorities. Prioritize recruitment needs of the branch based on guidance from Area Director and/or HR Generalist to ensure staffing capacity is equal to client care volumes. Thoroughly screen candidates while adhering to Bayshore Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding policies and standards, including but not limited to, referencing, security and vulnerable sector screening (where required).

Monitor retention of new hires and understand reasons for turnover in order to incorporate this in the recruitment/ retention strategy. Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company’s Quality Management System. Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.





Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company’s Quality Management System. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

Hire and screen Field employees according to Bayshore Home Health recruitment and selection policies and procedures and as such: interview potential Field employees, administer and evaluate skills tests. document personal information in human resources files. arrange for police security clearances. Assist with the recruitment and selection of Administrative and/or Supervisory employees as requested by the Area Director. conduct specific parts of the Information Session, such as payroll; prepare photo identification cards for Field employees.

Maintain

Field employee human resources files such that all required documentation, including proof of current professional registration, probationary and annual performance reviews, supervisory reports and continuing education documentation are included. Maintain past Field employee human resources files in conjunction with the Area Director and ensure that final performance reviews and/or exit interviews are included. Handle payroll and benefits-related inquiries and assist employees to complete forms.

Manage Workers





Compensation claims documentation including filing reports, follow-up activities;

Education Minimum - Secondary School Diploma and completion of a recognized Human Resources diploma or degree program is preferred.

Experience A minimum of two years progressively responsible and varied human resources experience. competency in keyboarding and Windows software; Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, human resource information systems and other HR related software Ability to operate all standard office equipment; Bilingualism in English and French (both written and spoken) is an asset.
