Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by managing multiple stations with enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure all food service procedures are followed to deliver a safe and enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications
- 2-5 years previous experience in food service or restaurant workplace; a passion for cooking is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
