Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Serve dishes efficiently and accurately to ensure timely delivery to guests
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with meal assembly and prep work
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Basic serving skills are a plus, along with familiarity with the food industry standards
