Shareholder& Corporate Disputes Estate& Trust Litigation RealEstate Litigation Appeals& Administrative Tribunals The successful candidate will play a integral role in supporting the firm’s litigation practice and will be responsible for managing a broad range of matters including: Assisting counsel with the preparation of pleadings, motion records, application records, affidavits, and other court materials Prepare Affidavits of Documents, productions, undertakings charts, and discovery materials and related litigation document Filing and serving court documents in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable practice directions Coordinating examinations for discovery, hearings, mediations, motions and other litigation events Maintaining well-organized litigation files and proactively monitoring limitation periods and procedural deadlines Providing day‑to‑day litigation support to counsel and contributing to the efficient management and progression of files Minimum of two (2) years of experience in civil litigation as a Law Clerk or Paralegal Law Clerk or Paralegal diploma or certificate from a recognized institution Strong knowledge of Ontario civil litigation procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure Excellent legal drafting, written communication and attention to detail Proficiency with legal practice management software (Cosmolex or similar) Performance‑based bonus opportunities Health and dental benefits following six months of employment Professional development and ongoing learning opportunities Meaningful responsibility and opportunities for professional growth within a growing litigation practice ME Law Professional Corporation is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive qualified workplace. #
