The Straight Truck

Driver is responsible for delivering product to our customers in a safe and professional manner, on time and accurately. There are a variety of shifts for this position. Driving company owned and licensed vehicles within the Toronto and surrounding areas.

Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for safe, damage-free transportation. Verifying all orders at time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications. Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to delivery maintenance procedures.

Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for. Holder of active DZ license with a minimum of two years of truck driving experience is required.



Current TDG/WHMIS knowledge would be considered an asset.

Tailgate experience would be considered an asset. Familiar with ISO Policies and Procedures would be considered an asset. High school graduate and/or related experience. Working on-site in a dry climate-controlled warehouse and vehicle environment.

Required to wear personal protective equipment - company supplied. Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse and vehicle setting. Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required.

Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift. As an essential services provider you must be comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions. Must be flexible regarding work hours.

This position has a salary range of $22.50 to $24.50 per hour.
