The Logistics Associate supports shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and backroom merchandising for the Bloor St. store. This full time role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing merchandise, preparing product for the sales floor, and supporting e-commerce and in-store transfer orders. The role works closely with the store team and Logistics Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and backroom standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise from warehouse, vendors, and other stores and follow quality control and receiving processes
- Prep product for placement on the sales floor and maintain stock levels
- Oversee outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of labels and packing slips; ship RTVs to warehouse
- Pick e-commerce and IST orders and meet targeted unit-per-hour pick rates
- Manage in-transit, shipping, e-commerce and IST documentation and reply to OMNI customer service emails
- Maintain a clean,
organized shipping/receiving area and overall backroom standards
- Assist with seasonal inventory preparations, counts, and ad-hoc logistics projects
- Identify, report and troubleshoot discrepancies and support on-the-floor activities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a logistics role, preferably in a luxury environment
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail in processing incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and perform physical tasks (bend, kneel, stand)
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Accountability for ensuring merchandise is received, scanned and tagged appropriately
