Key Responsibilities
As a Logistics Manager at Planet, you will be a critical member of our Ground Stations Operations Team, playing a central role in the delivery and operational excellence of our geographically diverse Ground Station network. You will own the end-to-end supply chain logistics, ensuring the seamless movement of essential equipment to support our satellite constellation. You will partner closely with internal teams, including IT, ITC, and mission control, to optimize our network performance and drive operational readiness.
Ideal candidates bring a background in supply chain management and a drive for continuous improvement.
This is a full time, in-office position based in our San Francisco office 5 days per week.
Requirements
4+ years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience
Basic programming - scripting and data analysis
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Experience with task prioritization and organizational management
Lean Six Sigma Experience
ASCM CPIM, CSCP or CLTD certification not required but beneficial
Experience with Bash, Python or other scripting or object-oriented languages
Experience with Linux or UNIX servers, IP Networks or previous Aerospace experience
