About The Role

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling machine learning models that underpin Doppel's detection systems. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding digital platforms by identifying and mitigating threats posed by social engineering, deepfakes, scams, and other malicious activities.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in deploying ML systems in production environments and a passion for solving complex, real-world problems where adversaries are continuously evolving.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production settings.
- Strong proficiency in working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
- Solid understanding of machine learning techniques including NLP, embeddings, similarity search, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Experience in designing models for both batch and real-time inference systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including detection, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams.




- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex threats into technical implementations.

Responsibilities

- Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to identify malicious or infringing content across multiple data sources such as websites, social media, dark web forums, and messaging platforms.
- Partner with detection and infrastructure teams to ensure ML systems are scalable and efficient in processing vast amounts of data.
- Develop models for various use cases including NLP tasks, similarity search, classification, and anomaly detection to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand real-world threats and translate them into effective ML solutions.
- Continuously monitor model performance and iterate to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and cybersecurity to incorporate innovative techniques into Doppel’s systems.
