Overview

GOLDEN RIVER LED is a Richmond, BC LED display retail and rental business. We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support this existing line of business — sales, quotation, inventory, installation, and after-sales.

You will work day to day with our Sales Engineers and Project Coordinator. You will apply machine learning to the data those teams already generate, so the company can identify B.C. demand earlier, quote more accurately, and manage jobs through after-sales.

Duties

- Build and maintain machine learning models for product matching, demand forecasting, and quotation support for our LED sales and rental work.
- Work on live jobs: help identify B.C. demand, recommend product mix (size, pixel pitch, brightness, indoor or outdoor, sale or rental), and prepare the numbers they use in the customer quote.
- Clean and analyze customer inquiries, quotations, inventory, project, and after-sales records. Return useful patterns to sales and the Project Coordinator.




- Build straightforward forecasts and internal dashboards for product planning and sales follow-up.

Skills

- Master’s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in machine learning engineering.
- Working knowledge of LED technology and semiconductor principles.
- Proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
- Ability to work with team and to explain technical results they can use on live quotations and jobs.
