GRF is currently seeking an experienced Electrician for our day shift.

Afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be required on some weekends. Must be a Licensed Electrician. Proof of apprenticeship is an asset. ~2‑5 years industrial mechanical/electrical experience, preferably in the food industry. ~ Knowledge of appropriate health & safety and environmental regulations. ~ Adherence to Food Safety Protocols.

Setup, maintenance and continuous improvement of food processing and packaging equipment. Understand and maintain Packaging and Process Control Systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. Install electrical equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Apply troubleshooting techniques on complex machinery, including electrical,



pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Prepare work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Perform Preventative

Maintenance (PM) of all site equipment. Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions and blueprints. Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual electrical & mechanical PMs. Participate in all maintenance team meetings.

Maintain excellent housekeeping, follow the 5S principles, and practice a "safety first" policy by addressing hazards and reporting unsafe conditions. 47.49 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour premium for working afternoon shift. Option to participate in GRF Pension Program after three‑month probation.
