Farms has built a strong, trusted consumer brand, offering a wide range of value‑added products including EGG Creations!, The Millwright is responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment or components. The incumbent applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to the site.

Position Title: Maintenance Technician Replacement or New Role: New Role Term: Permanent Full-Time Reports to: Manager, Maintenance Bonus: Yes / No Travel: No Follow all required work safe practices, which includes but not limited to lock-out tag-out, PPE, chemical safety, fall protection, etc. Compliance to Quality, Food Safety, and GMP procedures and standards. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair packaging, utility, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic,



and electrical/electronic equipment.

Adjust equipment to ensure the proper performance and safe operating conditions. Collaborate with employees on procedures for working safely with electrical and mechanical equipment. Document breakdowns and preventive maintenance on the CMMS software.

Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications. Maintain cleanliness of Maintenance Shop and work areas. Support and implement continuous process improvements. Practical knowledge and experience with processing and packaging equipment in a food manufacturing facility. ~ Capable of effectively troubleshooting equipment, instrumentation, and programming failures. ~ Knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of specialized instruments for diagnostic purposes. ~ Ability to work as a team or independently with minimal supervision. ~ Develop a positive work setting through team building and collaboration ~ Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed. ~ Be on an on-call rotation. ~ Successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship (e.g. 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician, 442A Industrial Electrician, 447A Instrumentation and Control Technician, or 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright). ~Burnbrae Farms’ Vision Through our commitment to quality, health and innovation, we will provide healthy lifestyle solutions, exceed customer expectations and build highly trusted brands.
