Role: Industrial Millwright Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pump, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machineries.

Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; using precision measuring and testing instruments. using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and straightedges. Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.



Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment. Assist with planning and closing the loop on work orders in Maximo Record parts and materials used, and order or create requisition for recent parts and materials as necessary.

Record repairs and maintenance performed. Have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License 433A (Red Seal Certificate of Qualifications) Exposure with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting. Have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Able to read mechanical drawings. Able to work shifts as well as some extended hours and weekends. Able to walk and/or stand 70-90% of the shift We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools on a limited basis to assist in initial assessment, identification, and review of candidates.
