Job Summary

At Golden Age Home care, We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Professional Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive caregiving services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Administer medication accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support patients with mobility challenges through protected transfer techniques and heavy lifting when required
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Monitor health status,



report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals, and assist with basic nursing duties as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments
- Strong skills with a focus on senior care, dementia care, hospice care, or individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate caregiving approach combined with patience and empathy
- Flexibility to adapt to different care settings and client needs.
- Health Care Aid ( HCA) Certification is an asset.
- Current First Aid & CPR is an asset.
