Manufacturer's Sales Agent - Western Canada

Are you looking for more than a traditional sales territory? At Eugénie International , we are seeking a driven Manufacturer's Sales Agent based in Western Canada to open new markets, create opportunities, and become our trusted presence across the region.

Backed by proven CNC machining and automation solutions for the door and jambs industry, you will own the territory from first contact to signed order. This is a highly sales-focused role for a true hunter

- someone who is comfortable creating opportunities, visiting plants, speaking with decision-makers, and advancing complex equipment sales.

Your mission:

- Own and grow the Western Canadian territory , with a primary focus on British Columbia, Alberta.
- Prospect consistently and build a qualified pipeline through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, plant visits, trade shows, and industry relationships.
- Identify key decision-makers and uncover production bottlenecks, automation goals, labour challenges, investment priorities, and purchasing timelines.
- Lead the full sales cycle from qualification and needs analysis through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Develop long-term relationships with owners, plant managers, production leaders, engineers, purchasing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Sell measurable business value by connecting our solutions to productivity, consistency, safety, operator reduction, and return on investment.
- Maintain disciplined records, forecasts, and next steps while consistently meeting agreed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Coordinate a seamless internal handoff and share market feedback with our sales, engineering, project, and service teams.

Your profile:

- You are based in Western Canada and can work independently from your home office and throughout the territory.
- You have a proven record in B2B industrial sales ;

experience selling capital equipment, automation, machinery, or manufacturing solutions is strongly preferred.

- You have a hunter's mindset : you do not wait for leads - you research, initiate conversations, follow up, and create opportunities.
- You can learn technical products quickly and translate machine capabilities into clear operational and financial value for the customer.
- You communicate and negotiate with confidence in English; French is considered an asset.
- You are organized, accountable, and comfortable with CRM tools , sales forecasting, remote collaboration, and performance targets.

- You are available for regular travel across Western Canada and occasional travel to Quebec, the United States, and industry events. A valid driver's licence and passport are required.
- An established network in manufacturing, doors and windows, millwork, building products, or industrial automation is a strong asset.

What sets us apart: Eugénie International is a Quebec-based manufacturer of CNC machining and automation solutions built for the door and door-frame industry. Our equipment helps manufacturers improve productivity, repeatability, safety, and workflow while reducing their dependence on manual operations.

Our sales approach is grounded in real production challenges. You will be supported by an accessible internal team that includes sales, engineering, project management, and service expertise, allowing you to bring credible, practical solutions to each customer conversation.

This role offers the opportunity to build a high-potential territory with meaningful autonomy and direct impact. Your market knowledge, customer relationships, and feedback from the field will help shape how Eugénie develops its presence across Western Canada.

We are looking for a long-term sales partner who brings energy, integrity, persistence, and an entrepreneurial mindset - someone who wants to build a market, not simply maintain an account list.

Position details :

- Territory: Western Canada, primarily British Columbia, Alberta.
- Work arrangement: Remote, with the agent based within the assigned territory.
- Travel: Regular regional travel, plus periodic travel to Quebec, the United States, trade shows, and customer demonstrations.

- To apply: Send your CV and a brief introduction to [email protected].

Position expectations : These expectations define the level of sales performance, professionalism, and accountability associated with representing Eugénie International in Western Canada.

This is a strategic territory-development role in which every interaction contributes to our credibility, customer relationships, and long-term growth.

1. Territory ownership and new-business growth

- Take full responsibility for developing the assigned territory and building a sustainable customer base.
- Create and execute a territory plan that prioritizes high-potential manufacturers, strategic accounts, and market segments.
- Generate measurable growth through consistent prospecting, account development, and conversion of qualified opportunities.

2. High-activity prospecting and pipeline discipline

- Maintain a steady cadence of outbound activity, plant visits, networking, referrals, and follow-up.
- Build enough qualified pipeline to support revenue objectives and the realities of long capital-equipment sales cycles.
- Keep every opportunity current in the CRM, with clear value, decision process, timing, next action, and probability.

3. Consultative and value-based equipment sales

- Understand each customer's production process, labour constraints, bottlenecks, quality goals, and automation priorities.
- Present Eugénie solutions in terms of operational impact, return on investment, and fit with the customer's workflow.
- Coordinate technical discovery and demonstrations while setting accurate expectations throughout the sales process.

4. Relationship management and brand representation

- Build credibility with owners, plant leaders, engineering teams, purchasing groups, partners, and industry contacts.
- Represent Eugénie with preparation, integrity, responsiveness, and a polished professional presence.
- Remain close to prospects and customers through regular, useful contact rather than transactional follow-up alone.

5. Negotiation, closing, and commercial discipline

- Advance opportunities with transparent next steps and actively ask for commitment at the appropriate stage.
- Support accurate proposals and negotiate transparently while protecting margins, positioning, and long-term value.
- Deliver reliable forecasts and communicate risks, competitive pressure, and deal support needs early.

6. Collaboration, accountability, and market intelligence

- Provide complete customer information and a clean handoff to the internal team once an order is secured.
- Operate with a high level of autonomy while remaining aligned with company strategy, processes, and reporting expectations.
- Share useful field intelligence on competitors, pricing, customer needs, market trends, and future product opportunities.
