Whether you're picking up a crusty sourdough loaf, sharing stories over coffee, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, you’re part of something truly special - a market built by a family, for the community they’ve always called home. The part-time Farm Markets Barista/Cashier supports daily market operations by assisting customers at checkout, general merchandising and occasional food production, maintaining a clean and organized work area and providing general help with setup, stocking, and customer service. This role combines excellent customer service with barista/cashier skills to create a welcoming, community-focused experience for market visitors.

As a Part time Farm Markets Barista/Cashier your primary responsibilities are to:



Greet customers and provide excellent service in a friendly, professional manner. Prepare and serve espresso drinks, drip coffee, cold brew, teas, and specialty beverages. Operate coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinders, brewers) safely and efficiently.

Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and maintain accurate sales records. Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and availability.

General merchandising and occasional food production. Keep your working area, equipment, and serving area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. You will be a great match if you have these skills and experience: Previous barista or cashier, retail, or customer service experience an asset (training provided).

Friendly, approachable, and comfortable engaging with customers with strong communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work through the week or on weekends as required. Food handler certification or equivalent.
