We also have a wholesale distribution center specializing in retail and food service.We are currently looking for a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team!Responsibilities:Handle, cut, prepare, and wrap meat products for departmentFollow store procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, and storing of meat productsMerchandising and maintaining displays Assist Store Manager with taking inventoryProvide customers with friendly and professional service to meet their needsPrepare special ordersKeep the meat shop, tools, and display areas clean and secure at all times per company requirements Comply with all government regulations concerning Health and Safety,



Food Safety, and equipment useUndertake other related duties on a periodic basisEquipment and Machinery Experience:Slicing machineSausage machinePower grinderManual cutting utensilBand sawRequirements:Minimum 1-year meat cutting experience; ideally in a high-volume grocery/retail environmentMinimum 1-year product rotation and merchandising experienceExtensive knowledge of the meat industry, especially meat cutsAvailable to work days, afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends, as requiredAbility to work with minimal supervisionStanding for extended periodsGood hand-eye coordinationAble to lift up to 80lbsTeam player with a positive attitudeFluency in French and English considered an asset***Must be able to work 30 hours per week.Job Type: Part-time or Full-timeSalary: $15.00/HrSchedule:DaysEveningsMonday to FridayHolidaysWeekends
